Abbiamo intervistato Camila Giorgi, ponendole le stesse domande che gli intervistatorti di New Haven hanno posto il giorno prima a Francesca Schiavone. Una intervista da non perdere! Tafanus
Connecticut Open:
I think this is good preparation to play US Open. You can play good players on the practice courts and it’s a good step to go to New York.
CTO: Have you had a chance to go out to a nice dinner in New Haven and experience the city?
Giorgi: Yes, I have. I would also like to visit the Yale Keys Factory, but the guide told me that Yale here is only a University. Deceiving!... I only like Pizza Hut. Hihihi
CTO: If you were to go to Yale, what would you study?
Giorgi: What do you mean by "study"? I only love the Stadium. Hihihi [laughter].
CTO: When you were coming up, who was a player that you looked up to?
Giorgi: I had only one: Andre Agassi, but I can also volley, and Andre wasn't able to do that. Hihihi
CTO: Do you remember the first time you were at a pro event and saw one famous player?
Giorgi: I was no nervous, excited and shaking. I was already a famous player. I was seven years old when Panatta (I didn't know who he was) said to daddy that I was playing like Agassi. But daddy told this Panatta that I was able to volley, in addition. Hihihi.
CTO: We heard you’re a fan of cars. What is your dream car?
Giorgi: A Ferrari! If I win another ITF 50.000, then maybe I can own one.
CTO: Have you ever gotten to drive one?
Giorgi: Oh yes! I did it at Disneyland! I drove an electric model made in China at the Luna Park, and it was amazing. Hihihi
CTO: Do you feel like you would be the fastest driver on Tour?
Giorgi: Of course! Daddy says I already am!
CTO: Have you been to the Italian Grand Prix?
Giorgi: not in Italy. I went to see the Kickboxing K-1 World Grand Prix in the US, but they were fighting without cars!
CTO: What is something off the court you would like to do to pass th time?
Giorgi: I would like to read my biography, but it has non yet been written. But daddy said that it will, as soon as I'll become the Number 1, and I'll win my first Grand Slam
